####  101st Airborne Division

##  Few words can say so much

I enlisted in the army at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indiana. My enlistment date was 16 June 1944. I served in Headquarters 1 st Battalion 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division. I arrived in Europe just as the Battle of the Bulge was ending, I was age 18. This is a picture of me before going over to serve with all the great men before me.
