For more than half a century, a Michel Brissard and his two sons, driven by a deep passion for history, devoted their lives to uncovering the forgotten traces of the D-Day landings. Through meticulous research and countless excavations across the Normandy countryside, the Brissard family unearthed remarkable treasures: rare weapons, equipment from both Allied and German forces, medical supplies, and even an exceptionally rare Enigma machine.

Today, these authentic discoveries are displayed in the heart of Omaha Beach, inside a genuine 1944 American field hospital. Perfectly situated between the American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc, the museum offers an extraordinary journey into the past, showcasing artifacts assembled over nearly fifty years.

Step into an atmosphere that is both authentic and emotionally powerful. Each object in this unique collection tells its own story, brought to life through an immersive audio guide in which the museum’s founders share the captivating tales behind their discoveries. The museum also offers: Omaha Jeep Tour, Retro Bike Tours and guided tours on Omaha Beach. The museum is dog-friendly!
