#  Big Red One Assault Museum

On one of my many trips to Normandy I visited the The Big Red One Assault Museum in Colleville-sur-Mer. Owned by Pierre Louis Gosselin, this US 1st Infantry Division or “Big Red One” museum, is an impressive collection of genuine Opeation Overlord military items expands every year.

The museum echoes the passion of Pierre Louis and it illustrates the D-Day landings of June 6, 1944 on Omaha Beach, located just a few hundred meters from the museum. Guided tours are available on request.
