My father's full name was James William Jones, and his nickname was Bill, which is a version of William. Others might know him as Bill or Billy Jones, not James

I have no story, other than he joined in June of 1943, served in 502 Parachute Infantry Regiment Company A, and was discharged in January 1946. All I have are these pictures if anybody can help please do so.
