I served in Headquarters 1 st Battalion 506 Parachute Infantry regiment 101st Airborne Division.

I arrived in Europe just as the Battle of the Bulge was ending, I was age 18. This is a picture of me before going over to serve with all the great men before me.

I went home on the Queen Mary with the 82nd Airborne Division..


Sent this from England December 1945. At that time there was no longer a 101st and I was in the 82nd Airborne Division. Men sent these cards I guess the year before.
