Swing Landing Trainer

Sir, I am SFC Paul Hart, the Senior Master Trainer at the U.S. Airborne School and 1/507th PIR on Ft. Benning, GA. I am trying to chronicle when the apparatuses of the school were invented, by whom, and what year they were first used by students. I can find no history on the Swing Landing Trainer, I'll be happy to get the year it was first used; but can't seem to find anybody who knows this information. I do know that the Swing Landing Trainer did not have a roof at one time, because I have pictures of it and by the type of uniform the students and instructors wore, it looks to be from the 50's or 60's. Would you or anybody you know happen to have any type of information on this great training apparatus or interesting information about any other apparatus, I would be indebted to you. Thank you in advance.
