My father is Sgt. Gerald F. Farley, illigedament son of the late post master general and close friend of F.D.R., James Farley. He was in the 506th 101st reg. parachute sq. faught in D-Day, battle of the baulge, several purple hearts, silver star, came out of the war with mental issue's, drinking hastened his death in 1976, I would be James Farley's grandson, he would of been his son, that in itself troubled his mind. F.D.R. helped hide this secrete for him, Farley was his right hand man for many years, I can't find any records of my father, I do have his honorable discharge and death cirt. Could someone help me confirm some things?
