Torquay June 6th Commemoration

On June 6th at Beacon Quay Torquay, England, a 65th Commemoration Parade/Service will be held. This takes place annually close to the Slipways (hards) where U.S. 4th Infantry embarked for Normandy on June 5th 1944. Being on a Saturday 3000 people are expected to attend. Hoping for fine weather, and many ex servicemen from Army,RAF,Navy and Merchant Navy will be there with many standards being carried.
