on my D-Day, Normandy and beyond postcards |
Hi
Frank, received my
postcards today, they
are beautiful and informative.
Some of my fellow vets,commented
just as I did. They
are a must have for
WW2 Vets. You are to
be highly commended
for your work on behalf
of the WW2 veterans.
I know I can speak
on their behalf. Thank
You and God Bless You.
Warmest
Regards

Frank:
I received my beautiful
post cards today! I
have anxiously awaited
and here they are,
so beautifully taken
and put together. The
pictures tell a story
of their own as I can
only try to visualize
the troops as they
walked upon these grounds.
God bless you for caring
enough to devote your
time to memories that
should never be forgotten. "The
father backward we
can look, the farther
forward we are likely
to see."
Blessings,

Hi
Frank, Yes I did receive
your postcards and
value them very much.
Although I had seen
these sites during
the war it was very
satisfying to be able
to see them again.
Point Du Hoc does not
seem to have changed
one bit. It is just
as my mind remembers
it. The Colleville
Sur Mer Memorial is
the first time I have
seen it and is very
impressive. Wished
I could have seen it
when I visited the
area a few years ago.
The
church at Sainte
Mere Eglise, is a
beautiful picture.
One that could very
well be enlarged
for framing. Might
just do that.
The
beach's at Vierville
Sur Mer in Normandy.
What a view. I can
remember and can still
picture in my mind
the landing craft with
all the GIs storming
the beach's. And now
you get a perfect picture
of what it is today.
Frank,
they are a great group
of pictures. You should
be very proud of them
and deserve much credit
for making them available.."
Warm
regards,
